Today I’m going to get my passport photos retaken (the ones I sent a few months ago came back as “unacceptable”), then see Dr. L for my last ob appt (I’m hoping he’ll be willing to strip my membranes), then in for my last NST, then to the grocery on the way home for more hot chocolate for the next two weeks. Busy, but not too bad. I’m anxious about the dr’s appt because my sugar was up a bit this morning and they’re going to tsk tsk me about it.
Last night I made my first try at a short-row heel for the new socks I’m making. It worked, but I had the foot length all wrong so I had to frog it and will be starting again this morning.
I’ve been hoping to make some chocolate chip biscotti, and perhaps I’ll get that done today, too. I also need to find a recipe for a breakfast all-in-one biscuit. We picked up some sausage this weekend and I need a recipe for breakfast thursday morning that’s fast (likely made the night before), high in protein (for the long day ahead of me) and hopefully high in fibre. I’ve been thinking something along the lines of a biscuit recipe with cooked bits of egg and sausage and cheese in it, but we’ll see what I can find.
Edit: found one at eatingwell.com. I’ll have to make some changes, but we’ll see how it goes.
