About the Nut(z)
I’m Kelly. I was born in ‘77 (do the math). I’m now finished with all projects of a certain type and am taking up new hobbies to compensate
. I’ve got a wonderful, supportive, sexy, geeky, smarty-pants husband (Ken); a wonderful, brilliant, goofy son (Ethan); and a wonderful, adorable, sneaky-goof (Victor). I have the best guys in the world. We also now have 3 cats; a cute little weirdo girl, Bonnie, and two brothers, Luke and Louie (who’re the strangest cats I’ve ever known). Our family is complete.
I’m a Stay-at-home-Mom and we live in the middle of nowhere in the Pocono Mountains. It’s beautiful, it’s quiet (mostly), and we’ve built a new house with more land and less people around it. We’re doing our best to make it all we dream it can be. I’m Canadian, and met my husband on the intarnets. I’m a type-1 diabetic, a free-form/earth-based spiritualist, Ethan was born at 28wks (very premature, very sick, 99% better now), Victor was born full-term (very healthy, very fast, got very big very quickly!). I love cooking, knitting, soap-making, sewing, gardening, surfing and various other distractions (and my family).
Otherwise, I’m not all that interesting and not a very good writer.
This blog is mostly a journal for me (and incomplete, as I’m still copying it over from my old livejournal). Somewhere to remember information and moments in time and share them with any family or friends or strangers who’re interested enough to read them. Something for my kids to read when they’re older, if they’d like, to know more about themselves, our life and me. I don’t promise entertainment, though I do have two adorable little boys who bring the adorable for me when they slow down enough for me to catch it. They’re pretty entertaining individuals… not that I’m biased.
